Breaking for Spring

Probably you've noticed that the frequency of posts at The Family Foodie has dwindled a bit in the past few weeks.  That's because this is super-busy season in professor-world, where the end of the academic year starts sometime around the first of March and continues, non-stop, through the beginning of May.

So.  It's been a hectic couple of weeks, and now I'll be taking a short break to spend some time with the foodie family. This is one of those rare years when we all have Spring Break during the same week, and I plan to make the most of that blessing.  No doubt that will include some cooking, at some point. But not right away.  First, we're just going to hang out together for awhile.  Check in with each other.  Get our priorities back in line.  It's going to be a veritable fiesta of family bonding.

Look for a new post sometime next week.  In the meantime, you might rally your own troops around a family favorite like Tamale Pie and reconnect with the ones you love.
